Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The rooms are stylish and spacious, its lovely to go outside and just watch the jungle on your terrace. The pool is nice and they serve Starbucks coffee until 3pm. The reception staff were helpful, especially Pablo, who went above and beyond to help me with getting to the hotel and onwards travel, which I appreciated a lot.

Negative: A lot of things mentioned in older reviews are not true anymore (there are no bikes to borrow at the property and no restaurant or bar). Food is only served at breakfast and you have the coffee option, anything else you need to go to the town for. I would say its not a good choice for solo travel without a car as getting around in taxis is very pricey despite it being a small town. Walking is doable but feels a bit eerie on an empty road. I think with a car or a motorbike it would be a very different experience to stay here
