LIVING AREAS
Enter Bohemian Studio and you are greeted by a wonderful stylish space. You will have the kitchen to your left and the full bathroom and large closet space to your right. As you continue you will find the beautiful open suite with your living space and bedroom. There is a comfortable sofa, a flat screen TV, air conditioning and a high table with seating for 2. The bathroom includes amenities and may be accessed directly from the bedroom or from the entrance.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Though compact, our studio is thoughtfully designed, ensuring a comfortable and stylish experience during your stay. Bohemian Studio features a queen size bed, nightstands, and black-out curtains for a good night sleep. You will love the 5-star resort quality linens of the queen bed.
KITCHEN
Bohemian Studio has a newly renovated cozy and fully equipped kitchen. The white stone countertops and wooden modern cabinets give it a sleek look. It is stocked with cooking pots and pans, has a fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove top, and coffee maker. It is small but fully prepared and perfect for an extended stay.
LOCATION
Bohemian Studio is located in Condado, Puerto Rico. This is considered a prime location in San Juan. From Bohemian Studio, you are a 3-minute walk from the up-and-coming hip Calle Loiza which offers tons of funky dining and shopping options. At Bohemian Studio you are just a short ride to the beach and about a 10-15 minute ride to Old San Juan. The apartment is approx. 10 minutes from the airport, 3-minute from the supermarket, and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! Ocean Park and Condado Beach are two of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you stay at Bohemian Studio. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita.
Explore Calle Loiza, which is blocks from the apartment. This up-and-coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start off with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping at Sabrina or Azucena for sophisticated Puerto Rican food.
Paddle board at Laguna del Condado. A 5-10 minute ride from the apartment.
Take an e-foiling lesson with our friends at Seakindly in San Juan Bay. This is a 10 minute Uber ride from the apartment.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Bohemian Studio is a 10-15 min Uber ride from the oldest city in the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy!
GETTING AROUND
Bohemian Studio is centrally located in the Condado area. If you plan to rent a car to explore the island, this property includes parking for one car. You can also move around using Uber if staying within the general San Juan/Metro area.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide two bath towels per guest and one beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least two beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, three garbage bags, one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one dish soap, and one dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
This apartment is located in a residential building. Guests must stay in this property and keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am and are strictly enforced. Guests that receive noise complaints from neighbors will have their reservations canceled and will need to find other lodging alternatives.
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm.
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated, and you will be expelled from the property.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 2 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Do not hang towels or clothes from the balcony or windows.
Do not wash white towels with colored beach towels. Any damaged towels will be charged for the security deposit.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced, and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess; stained towels/linens will be charged.
Subletting not allowed
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
