This charming one-bedroom villa belongs to the boutique resort La Bougainvillea and enjoys all the resort’s amenities, including its excellent beachfront restaurant, bar, pool, and spectacular pink sand beach. Lotus Villa is a brand new (2019) stand-alone one bedroom house. The great room features a large living room with a sectional sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen finished in granite and stainless steel. The bedroom is furnished with a king bed and enjoys a en-suite full bath with a walk-in shower. With the living room sectional opened into a sofa bed, Lotus Villa can sleep four. Outside, Lotus Villa’s lovely wrap-around veranda is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Eleuthera’s natural beauty. Amenities at Lotus Villa include AC, WIFI, satellite TV, and washer/dryer. Lotus Villa is close to but not on the property of La Bougainvillea, so a rental car would be necessary for easy access to the resort. The town of Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is less than 10 minutes by car from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock.
