Come stay in this beautiful log cabin on a wooded lot on a cliff overlooking Nolin River Lake with all the amenities of home. There are two bedrooms along with a loft for sleeping. The third sleeping area is the loft with a double bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin is fully furnished including Wifi and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need including a dishwasher, stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator, and coffee maker. A stack washer/dryer unit is available. The property has two porches. The front porch has a porch swing along with 2 Adirondack chairs and a table while the back porch is a screened in porch where you can sit and enjoy a meal while looking out at the fantastic lake view. There is a gas grill and charcoal grill for your use. The property also has a fire pit so you can enjoy some s'mores around the fire. Wax Marina is less than a mile away offering boat rentals and a boat ramp. Enjoy a game of checkers or a variety of games and puzzles with your family. There are also three stores within 5 miles away with plenty of supplies including groceries, gas, fishing tackle and boating supplies. Mammoth Cave National Park is just approximately 30-40 minutes away. Cub Run Cave is only 8 miles from the lake house, Blue Hollar Off-Road Park is 16 minutes away and Shady Hollow Golf Course(18 holes) is just 10 miles away. There is a cleaning fee per stay and taxes are included in the pricing. The cabin is on Central time, which the locals refer to as “slow time”.
