The kitchen is very well-equipped and there is a rear enclosed lawned garden, perfect for al fresco dining. The property has two staircases each of which service the upstairs bedrooms. The main, sweeping staircase leads up from the living room and a further winding staircase leads off the kitchen. The fifth twin bedroom is on the ground floor as is the second bathroom.
Saxmundham is within easy reach of the popular coastal resorts of Aldeburgh; Southwold and Warbleswick and there are many lovely local walks. Nearby are also Minsmere Bird Sanctuary; the town of Woodbridge; Sutton Hoo; Snape Maltings – home of the Aldeburgh Music Festival; and castles at Framlingham and Orford.
