Newly renovated upscale beach cottage situated right on the gorgeous and secluded Bahama Time Gaulding Cay beach. 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Full Kitchen, Screened Porches, and super fast WIFI.
The gorgeous waterfront property includes the beach, dune, and the yard behind, with the house situated 50 steps behind the dune. Additional full-sized bed and a twin bed in the back room can be used as extra space. Partial-shade chairs permanently anchored in the sand. Nice at any time, but particularly with morning coffee or watching the sunset with cocktails. Deck straddling the dune; it's a nice place to set up the lounge chairs. The kayaks and paddle boards are stored underneath, making them handy for a quick paddle.
The beach itself is one of the finest on an island of great beaches, with beautiful white sand flats and the picturesque cay just offshore. When you type in 'Gaulding Cay Beach' on VRBO you find pages of rentals, but as our headline reads, only 3 rentals actually front Gaulding Cay Beach.

Summary: Wow, this was an amazing trip for our family of 4, and I truly can say, this was one of our favorites due to the accommodations, hospitality, location, and the overall beauty of the property. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay of three weeks. While on the island, there was problems with a lack of water/electricity. The villa has a generator and personal water system, which was huge for us.The beds/mattresses are extremely comfortable and our family of 4 slept great every night. I will say that they are low platform beds, so that may be a problem for some, but was not for us. The hospitality.... wow! Pema was our host and he is wonderful! Every morning, on the back patio the cooler was full of ice for the beach, fresh-cut coconuts to drink (cold), and multiple fresh mangos to eat. He came by most afternoons to see if we needed anything for the house (TP, paper towels, water, fresh sheets), or just to say "hi." Pema was a major highlight of the property. Thank you, Pema! The property, in my opinion, has the best beach location with Gaulding Cay in your backyard. The villa has everything needed to snorkel and explore the cay. We saw some beautiful stingrays! Also, clear bottom canoes and paddle boards were there for us, which my kids enjoyed and used daily. Bahama Time is a treasure that did not disappoint and we hope to visit again.
